Brazos Community Connection Fair offers on-site health services on Aug. 10

In this week’s episode of “What’s Up, College Station?” Community Development Analyst Josh Brooks and Scotty’s House Community Engagement Coordinator April Theiss join Marketing Coordinator Grace Hallowell to discuss the Brazos Community Connection Fair. The free event is set for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Brazos County Health District at 201 N. Texas Ave. in Bryan.

The fair brings together non-profit organizations to provide on-site resources and services, including cancer screens and immunizations.

Trash and recycling tips for students moving in for the fall semester

Solid Waste Division Manager Caroline Ask joins Grace Hallowell to offer helpful tips to arriving college students about trash and recycling collections and what to do with bulky items (appliances, furniture, etc.) and household hazardous waste.
